Some words to the “Swedish TV Project”: In a Swedish School with bad reputation – almost closed from school administration – they took one of the worst classes. For half a year they sent the best teachers from Sweden to this class. After this half year this class was one of the three best classes in Sweden. Swedish TV has been in this school with a camera team every single day and documented the whole development. Igor Adoris was the sport teacher and one of the “stars” in this TV Documentation in TV. Adoris and his teacher Lars-Eric Uneståhl will talk about this experiment and what we can learn from it. The German TV ARD is planning to broadcast this documentation in 12 parts. They interviewed already Igor Adoris.

| | Joyce Mills schreibt zu ihrem Workshop: Overview: Ever try to hug a porcupine? Ouch! Well, that is what it can be like when you work with a difficult, acting out, hard-to-raise child, adolescent, or challenging family. That’s where the StoryPlay® Approach comes in. StoryPlay® is a multi-cultural, heart-centered, indirective model of therapy that bypasses the quills of pathology and draws upon the natural inner resources, skills, and strengths of each child, adolescent, adult or family member to generate healing, growth, and change. StoryPlay® is founded upon the principles of Milton H. Erickson, Indigenous teachings, and the innovative approaches of healer and therapist Dr. Joyce Mills. With the power and spirit of therapeutic storytelling and play at its center, each element of the StoryPlay® Approach provides therapists with hands-on, creative tools for working with difficult or traumatized clients using their favored treatment modality or philosophy; to include sand tray, music, expressive arts, etc. Additionally, the approaches encompassed within the StoryPlay® Therapy model can be applied in a variety of settings; i.e., individual, family, group, classroom, and hospital. Course description: This one-day course teaches participants the origins, key elements, and essentials of StoryPlay® Therapy, including therapeutic metaphors, storytelling, story-crafts, sensory synchronicity, artistic and living metaphors, and therapeutic rituals and ceremonies. Dr. Mills shows how StoryPlay® Therapy can be effectively utilized with numerous special populations or situations, such as natural and man-made disasters, PTSD, abuse, ADHD, eating disorders, divorce, grief and loss.
